Introduction
Gad Elu is a 20-km-wide silicic stratovolcano with minor lava domes around the main cone and late-stage obsidian lava flows. Potassium-argon dates range from 1.46 to 0.38 million years (Lahitte et al., 2003a, 2003b).---
