Mayon volcano (Luzon Island, Philippines): no significant change in activity since the last update

PHIVOLCS reported that the seismic station records 10 volcano-tectonic earthquakes during the last 24 hours.

Additionally recorded emissions of gas and steam plumes. The plumes were dispersed towards the E, NE, W and NW direction.
Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions reached to a 478 tonnes/day.
Recent electronic tilt data showed inflation of the middle to upper portions of the volcanic edifice that began in the last quarter of 2019.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs, pyroclastic and lava flows could affect an area of about 6 km distance from the crater.
