Based on seismicity detected during 18-24 January OVDAS-SERNAGEOMIN reported that the eruption from the Cordón Caulle rift zone, part of the Puyehue-Cordón Caulle volcanic complex, continued at a low level. On 18, 20, and 22-23 January plumes observed with a web camera rose 2.5-7 km above the crater and on 18, 20, and 22-24 January satellite images showed ash plumes drifting 25-110 km NE, E, SE, and W.
