An intermediate magnitude 4.3 earthquake was reported early afternoon near Matias Romero, Matías Romero Avendaño, Oaxaca, Mexico.
According to Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN), the quake hit on Tuesday 2 March 2021 at 2:24 pm local time at an intermediate depth of 99 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
