An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred late at night on Monday 7 June 2021 at 10:55 pm local time near Tonala, Tonalá, Chiapas, Mexico, as reported by Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN).
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at a moderately shallow depth of 66 km.
