An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred only 8 minutes ago 84 km southwest of Salmonete, Panama, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.

The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Salmonete, Soná District, Provincia de Veraguas, Panama, in the morning on Thursday 22 July 2021 at 8:33 am local time.
