Moderate magnitude 4.9 earthquake 121 km northwest of Davila, Philippines

The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 4.9 quake in the Philippines near Davila, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos, 34 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early evening on Friday 6 August 2021 at 7:38 pm local time at a moderately shallow depth of 32.2 km. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change in the coming hours as the agency continues to process seismic data.
