Sheveluch volcano (Kamchatka): moderate ash explosion
The lava dome continues to grow. A moderate explosion occurred last night, producing an ash plume that rose to between 8,000 ft (1.8 km) (VAAC Tokyo) and 13,000 ft (4 km) (KVERT) altitude.
