, who also organize one-day trips to Yasur volcano.
If you prefer to stay near the volcano itself, there are many cozy bungalows and home stays in the area.
We personally prefer Kelson's Jungle Oasis which is probably closest to the volcano and has a direct view of the volcano (if you are lucky to get the spectacular tree house), but there are many other good choices as well:

New observations from the Vanuatu Meteorology and Geohazards Department (VMGD) suggest that the volcanic activity at Yasur emits plumes of volcanic gases and/or ash. The danger zone remains at 600 meter around the volcanic cone. (See Yasur caldera safety map). The Yasur Volcanic Alert Level (VAL) has been at the Level 2 since 18th October 2016.
