Effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
INSIVUMEH reported that lava flow in Ceniza direction continues to be active, currently about 200 m long.
Weak to moderate vulcanian-type explosions at regular intervals of 6 to 8 per hour generate a grey ash plume which reached approx. 14,767-15,420 ft (4,500-4,700 m) altitude. Ash emissions are extending about 10 km to the west and southwest of the volcano.
Incandescent material is ejected to an approximate height of 150 m-300 m above the crater with weak to moderate avalanches towards the Santa Teresa, Taniluyá, Ceniza, Trinidad, Las Lajas and Honda direction.
