Mild strombolian activity continues at Fuego volcano. Incandescent material is thrown out up to 50 m above the vent on the summit crater and a small lava flow was observed on 13 June, travelling 100 m towards the Santa Teresa ravine on the W flank. During 6-19 February explosions from Fuego produced ash plumes and fumarolic plumes that rose to altitudes of 4-4.7 km.

Ash plumes were reported from Fuego that rose to an altitude of 5 km and drifted W on 4 February.

Strong eruptions were reported at 24 January from Fuego. There were ash plumes produced and shock waves were detected until a distance of 3 km. There were also avalanches of hot lava blocks rolling down the volcano.
