Activity has remained unchanged with weak strombolian explosions (11 counted during 28-29 Dec) producing small ash plumes up to about 500 m high, and the continuing lava flow, about 500 m long on the upper southern slope.

Activity has remained dominantly effusive. The lava flow on the southern slope has increased its length to 500 m on 24 Dec morning. Mild strombolian activity with infrequent (a few per day) small explosions have continued at the volcano. ...

There were 8 explosions during 20-21 Dec which produced light gray ash column of 200-400 meters height and drifting 7 km west and SW. Incandescent material reached 100 meters above the crater and generated avalanches on the upper slopw. The lava flow toward Taniluya canyon was 300 meters long.

6 strombolian explosions were counted by INSIVUMEH since yesterday with ash plumes rising up to 400 m and incandescent bombs 150 m above the crater. The lava flow remains active and was about 300 m long this morning.

The lava flow had a reported length of 200 m this morning, after a relatively calm day with no (reported) exlosions.
