Activity has calmed down to normal mild strombolian activity with incandescent bursts reaching 100 m above the crater and generating small glowing avalanches. No lava flows were reported active.

The eruption continues with the near-constant strombolian explosions reaching some 300 m above the crater and generating constant avalanches and rumbling sounds. An ash plume is rising to an altitude of 4600 m and moving south at a distance of 10 kilometers. ...

During the last hours, the lava effusion has significantly increased and the active lava flow towards the canyon Trinidad has reached 1,000 meters in length. At the summit, strombolian-type explosions are continuous and produce constant degassing sounds. ...

A new lava flow has appeared from the summit crater of Fuego volcano and is traveling towards Trinidad canyon and about 300 m long. Weak explosions occur from time to time as well, with plumes rising only a few 100 meters. The current seismic signal shows an increase of activity over the past hours.
