Fuego volcano (Guatemala) activity update
Thursday Jul 25, 2013 13:59 PM | BY: T
Activity has remained low. INSIVUMEH reports only few and weak explosions (producing ash plumes up to 400 m height) and the active lava flow decreased to 50 m length.
Monday, Jul 22, 2013
There are no significant changes in activity, which remains weak (8 small to moderate explosions during 20-21 July) and mainly effusive; the lava flow on the southern side was about 300 m long and produced small avalanches of blocks towards the Taniluya canyon.

The lava flow on the southern side has remained active and was about 250 m long this morning, producing near-constant rockfalls towards the Taniluya canyon. ...
Sunday, Jul 14, 2013
Explosive activity has been weak (only few and small strombolian explosions with ash plumes up to 200-400 m height and incandescent material rising 100 m), but another lava flow has started on the upper southern flank. On 12 July morning, it was about 150 m long towards the Taniluyá canyon.
Tuesday, Jul 09, 2013
Activity remains generally stable with infrequent wek to moderate explosions, sometimes accompanied by shock waves felt in nearby villages. Plumes of fine ash rose to 600-800 m height above the crater and drifted for about 10 km before being dispersed, INSIVUMEH reported this morning in its daily update.
