The seismic station recorded 1 deep, 1 shallow, 5 local and 83 volcano-tectonic earthquakes during 1-29 Jun.
A gas and steam plumes have been observed rising above 20-60 m above the peak since 1 January.
People and tourists are advised to avoid the crater area within 1 km radius.

PVMBG reported that observers at the Gamkonora observation post in Gamsungi (6 km NW), West Halmahera, reported that during 1 January-6 March diffuse white plumes rose up to 150 m above the crater rim, although weather conditions often obscured views.
