Gareloi volcano (Aleutian Islands): Aviation Color Code raised to Yellow

The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) noted that an elevated seismic activity was recorded at the volcano on 18 May including a sustained increase of small volcano-tectonic earthquakes on 27 May.

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions were detected in satellite images over the past week and is consistent with measurements from the last several years.
Therefore, the Aviation Color Code raised to "yellow", as the increase of seismic activity has been recorded.
