Hoodoo Mountain is located north of the Iskut River in the Coast Mountains of northwestern British Columbia, Canada. The volcano formed under glacial ice, and a 3-4 km wide ice cap still covers the upper part above 1750 m elevation, forming 2 glaciers, the Hoodoo glacier on the northwest and Twin glacier on the northeast side. It has a circular shape with a basal diameter of 6 km and a flat top.
Climbing Stromboli volcano: Stromboli provides one of the most remarkable opportunities to watch volcanic eruptions from close: a natural ridge located 150 m above the active vents. A classic and all-time favorite tour by anyone interested in seeing active volcanoes!
Monthy earthquake reports: For each month since July 2012, we publish a summary of quake activity world-wide: find the list of largest quake, a map showing all significant quakes as well as detailed statistics on seismic activity during this time.
