Ibu volcano (Halmahera, Indonesia): occasional explosions

On 12 August at 07:40 local time PVMBG recorded an ash plume that reached 7,000 ft (2,100 m) altitude and drifted north.

The seismic station records 212 volcano-tectonic earthquakes.
There is a 2 km exclusion zone around the main crater in place and 3,5 km zone away on the N side.
