Ibu volcano (Halmahera, Indonesia): sporadic explosions continue

The first eruption this year occurred today at 09:39 local time producing small to moderate ash emissions that reached 6,000 ft (1,828 m) altitude and drifted N.
There is a 2 km exclusion zone around the main crater in place and 3,5 km zone away on the N side.
