Canlaon volcano (Philippines) activity update: volcano alert level lowered back to green

07:26 AM | AUTORE: MARTINSeismicity had returned to baseline levels (0-2 earthquakes/day), no significant deformation had been detected, sulfur dioxide emissions from active crater were low since August 2018.
The Alert Level was lowered to 0 (on a scale of 0-5), though the public was warned to not enter the 4-km-radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) due to rock falls, avalanches or phreatic eruption at the summit area.
No magmatic activity is expected.
