Moderate yet deep magnitude 5.0 quake hits 120 km southeast of Arica, Chile in the morning

Just 8 minutes ago, a 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Arica, Provincia de Arica, Region de Arica y Parinacota, Chile. The tremor was recorded in the morning on Sunday 27 December 2020 at 10:55 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 118 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from INPRES which listed the quake at magnitude 5.3. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 5.4.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Arica (pop. 186,000) located 120 km from the epicenter.
