Dumbea new caledonia / Very strong shaking (MMI VII) : It was a single kick very stong , but no waves like usual . Very different !
Noumea (France, 351 km W of epicenter) : Séisme ressenti pendant 5 à 10 secondes, au 7e étage d'un hôtel en bord de mer à Nouméa. Deux personnes assises l'ont ressenti, deux autres couchées sur leur lit n'ont rien perçu. (reported through EMSC)
