3.7 earthquake near Athens, Greece, in the early morning
A magnitude 3.7 earthquake shook the Attic Peninsula in Greece today, Feb. 18, 2021, at 5:04 am local time. The epicenter was located only 30 km northwest of the capital Athens at a depth of 5.0 km.
The area surrounding the quake is mountainous and not densely populated, but light shaking could still be felt in the flatter areas of the capital. Within minutes after the quake, we received multiple reports from users within a radius of 30 km from the epicenter, mostly in the City of Athens in Greece, who felt the quake. There were also some reports of windows, doors, and other standing appliances shaking due to the quake.
No damages were reported.

Iliopolis, Attica / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating : I was awake early this morning sitting on my sofa, when I felt the sofa begin to move and the glass dish on my coffee table began to rattle p. | 9 users found this interesting.  
33.5 km SE of epicenter [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) : I was asleep in bed but when awake later that morning I remembered that I thought I felt some shaking during the night which half woke me up, so I checked for recent earthquakes and it must have been this one. But I don't have a lot of details as I was half asleep. (reported through our app)  
26.5 km SE of epicenter [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / vibration and rolling / 1-2 s : First I heard the rumbling coming from the east, felt it roll pass east towards west. Dishes and loose items rattled and I felt the bed rumble. I could discern and hear the wave moving away.
