Earthquake reported few minutes ago near Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia

We are receiving unverified early reports of seismic activity in or near Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia on 5 May 2021 (GMT) at approximately 00:16.

651 Aloine Way crackenback / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single vertical bump / 2-5 s : Yes definite a tremor we are on alpine way....huge bang on the house and tumbled down the valley ...cracks in our back room | 4 users found this interesting.

East Ji dabyne (0.9 km N of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / 2-5 s : The roof shaking and a huge noise like a really loud crack of thunder. Thought a huge game tree had come down , cracking as it fell

Kalkite / not felt : It was a long deep rumbling. At first we thought it was thunder but a low rumbling, rolling thunder sort of sound. Didn’t feel anything but sound was loud enough to make my friends and I stop and look around!

Jindabyne / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / 5-10 s : Began with a loud bang - like an explosion which continued for a few seconds. I thought at first it was a tree falling on the house. No damage.  
Cooma, NSW, 2630 / Light shaking (MMI IV) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s : It felt like the house was pushed, maybe by a massive gust of wind which lasted maybe a second. Just a single brief lateral shake.  
Thredbo village / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : I was sitting watching television and I felt the windows rattling for a few seconds and felt the vibration as I was sitting up against the wall.  
Jindabyne nsw / Light shaking (MMI IV) / single vertical bump / 2-5 s : Loud bang. Whole house vibrates but no shaking visibly. Unusual in that there was no obvious lead in or after shakes. Some creaking, small bangs before hand but not like tremors  
Bungarby, nsw / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 5-10 s : Rumble and screens on house were vibrating. Also felt this last night around midnight. Slight rumble sounded like deep rumbling of thunder.  
East Jindabyne / Moderate shaking (MMI V) / rattling, vibrating : Loud boom & rumble - startled by volume of noise, house shook, object rattled, felt a little disoriented for a sec when I stood up.  
Moonbah, NSW / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : We experienced two very loud bangs. Sounded like a bomb went off. Though something had exploded outside. The house shook.

East jindabyne / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Loud roar like thunder storm. House shook/rattled similar to a heavy truck passing. Felt by neigbours.  
DAIRYMANS PLAINS / not felt : Didn't feel anything but heard a rumbling noise loud enough to check outside to see if there was a low flying aircraft or similar.  
Dalgety NSW 2628 / Light shaking (MMI IV) / both vertical and horizontal swinging / 5-10 s : Chickens started making a racket. I was watching them from inside the house yo see if a fix for about 30 seconds to a minute when the whole house felt like it lifted, then shook. Only a short but fierce initial reaction with a quick after rumble.  
jindabyne / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / vibration and rolling / 1-2 s : A couple of loud bangs. Went around the house to check to see if there was any smoke from what felt like an explosion

Windows rattled. Went outside to see if was plane & could not hear one . Realised it must have been as earthquake.

Ingebirah (14.6 km SSE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Started with a Rumbling sound followed by the house shaking slightly, went for about 10 seconds.  
Bungarby, NSW (55.8 km SE of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / 20-30 s : Low rumbling sound like thunder followed by a loud crack which made the windows rattle.
