Moderate yet deep earthquake of magnitude 5.1 just reported 73 km south of Gorontalo, Indonesia

Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported a magnitude 5.1 quake in Indonesia near Gorontalo, only 11 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Thursday 6 May 2021 at 2:13 am local time at an intermediate depth of 101 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Gorontalo (pop. 144,200) located 73 km from the epicenter, and Luwuk (pop. 47,800) 97 km away.
