  • I'm on Bull Island too and felt one loud thud and shake. Thought it might be a sonic boom from the jets at Langley.

  • Felt 3 times. Felt the same as other people. Sounded more like a crash or something falling rather than a boom. The vibration moved from east to west like a wave.

At home in kitchen in Buckroe Beach, VA (25.3 km ESE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s : While sitting in the kitchen I heard a load boom and the entire house shook and windows rattled.
