Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.7 just reported 66 km southwest of Kos Town, Greece

The National Observatory of Athens (NOA) reported a magnitude 4.7 quake in Greece near Kos Town, Dodecanese, South Aegean, only 11 minutes ago. The earthquake hit late at night on Saturday 31 July 2021 at 10:57 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the Kandilli Oservatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul (KOERI-RETMC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.6 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) at magnitude 4.5, and the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) at magnitude 4.6.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Nikia (pop. 48) located 29 km from the epicenter, Kéfalos (pop. 2,500) 48 km away, Antimacheia (pop. 2,300) 54 km away, Kos Town (pop. 19,200) 66 km away, Kalymnos (pop. 12,300) 70 km away, and Turgutreis (pop. 16,500) 78 km away.
