Moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.3 just reported 49 km west of Pakokku, Myanmar (Burma)

An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred only 14 minutes ago 49 km west of Pakokku, Myanmar (Burma), India's National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 93 km beneath the epicenter near Pakokku, Pakokku District, Magway Region, Myanmar (Burma), early morning on Saturday 7 August 2021 at 2:16 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Pagan (pop. 300) located 28 km from the epicenter, Chauk (pop. 90,900) 47 km away, Pakokku (pop. 126,900) 49 km away, Myingyan (pop. 141,700) 82 km away, Yenangyaung (pop. 110,600) 94 km away, and Monywa (pop. 182,000) 106 km away.
