The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.8 quake in the United States near Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, only 12 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the afternoon on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, at 4:12 pm local time at a very shallow depth of 2.5 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
