Moderate tremor of magnitude 4.3 just reported 20 km northwest of Orcopampa, Peru

Just 10 minutes ago, a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Orcopampa, Provincia de Castilla, Arequipa, Peru. The tremor was recorded early afternoon on Monday 3 May 2021 at 3:47 pm local time, at an intermediate depth of 126 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Aguada (pop. 12) located 19 km from the epicenter, Orcopampa (pop. 5,600) 20 km away, and Ayahuasi (pop. 650) 26 km away.
