A magnitude 3.0 earthquake near Porterville, Loving County, Texas, USA, was reported only 16 minutes ago by the United States Geological Survey, considered the key international and national agency that monitors seismic activity in the US. The earthquake occurred at a very shallow depth of 3.9 miles beneath the epicenter early evening on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at 6:20 pm local time.
