Moderate 4.3 quake hits near Tobelo, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, North Maluku, Indonesia

An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred only 14 minutes ago 95 km north of Tobelo, Indonesia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 130 km beneath the epicenter near Tobelo, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, North Maluku, Indonesia, in the morning on Thursday, August 4th, 2022, at 10:00 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
