Volcanic features on the Jos Plateau include domes, single vents, and clusters of 3-4 cones aligned mainly NW-SE (Lar and others, 2013). Preliminary K-Ar dating of volcanci features reported by Lar and others (2013) showed an age range of 2.5-1.34 Ma.
