Inflation continued and the lava lake level at Halema'uma'u remained stable.
At Pu`u `O`o, lava circulated in the east pit; glowing spots were seen in the west edge of the north pit.
Lava flows continued to advance southeast of Pu`u `O`o on the coastal plain at the pali base. Seismic tremor levels were low. Gas emissions were elevated.

Despite the continuing inflation and deflation episodes on Kilauea, the lava flows increased their advance down the pali. One front entered the remaining kipuka within the Royal Gardens subdivision. ... [more]

Activity remains stable at Kilauea. At the Pu'u 'O'o, the lava lake that occupies the east pit crater is still active and was accompanied by a second pit crater lake in the south. Active lava flows are still progressing through the Royal Gardens at an an estimated speed of 100m per day. (HVO) [more]

During 12-18 September HVO reported that the circulating lava lake periodically rose and fell in the deep pit within Kilauea's Halema'uma'u Crater. The gas plume from the vent continued to deposit variable amounts of spatter and Pele's hair, and possible crater wall veneer, onto nearby areas. ...

During 28 August-4 September HVO reported that the circulating lava lake periodically rose and fell in the deep pit within Kilauea's Halema'uma'u Crater. The gas plume from the vent continued to deposit variable amounts of spatter and Pele's hair onto nearby areas.
