NASA photo of the eruption of Klyuchevsky volcano on 30 September, 1994, the volcano's largest explosion in 40 years. The large eruption cloud billowed from the summit, and deposited volcanic ash (pulverized rock) on the snow-covered region to the east. Another small steam plume was rising from Bezymianny, the smaller “C”-shaped volcanic summit south of Klyuchevskaya.

Klyuchevskoy volcano activity during 13-14 Nov: A giant steam ring is produced by an explosion this morning. The volcano emits a variable but often intense steam plume with possibly some ash. Klyuchevskoy volcano eruption with lightning 11 Oct 2013

A strong eruption occurred today at Klyuchevskoy volcano. At 08:30 UTC (17:30 local time), a new vent opened in the saddle between Klyuchevskoy and neighboring Kamen volcano, producing a fountain of lava and ash rising to about 7 km altitude.
