The activity at the volcano continues at moderately high levels during the past week.
Today at 07:10 local time Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo recorded a moderate explosion. Ash plume reached 15,000 ft (4,572 m)
altitude and drifted SW.
