Intermittent explosions continue to occur almost every day at the volcano. Recently, their frequency has increased somewhat.

The latest event, although not observed well due to cloudy and hazy conditions, was reported a few hours ago from the volcano observatory: "Eruption with ash clouds at 14:25 UTC (07:25 local time). The eruption lasted for 72 seconds."
Weak, but regular heat signals are present on satellite data confirming this activity as well.
