Anak Krakatau volcano (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): ash eruption this morning

Another eruption occurred this morning at the volcano, and this time, it was observed by the monitoring camera.
It started at 07:55 WIB local time and lasted 1 minute 47 seconds. It produced thick jets of steam and dark ash, typical of water-magma interaction (as the vent is still submerged), reaching a height of approx. 450 m.
The resulting ash plume drifted north and northwest.
PVMBG maintains alert level 2 (on a scale of 1-4) and recommends people not to approach the crater within a radius of 2 km.
