The activity at the volcano has not changed significantly over the past weeks. Phreatic or phreatomagmatic explosions continue to occur intermittently from the crater lake.
On 18 Sep, a group of tourists visited the crater rim and observed a (fortunately only) small explosion from close distance and filmed it:
