Kuchinoerabu-jima volcano (Ryukyu Islands, Japan) activity update: increasing number of volcanic earthquakes

Kuchinoerabu-jima volcano´s emissions yesterday (image: JMA)
Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that the number of volcanic earthquakes increased to 18 since 15 November.
The amount of volcanic (sulfur dioxide) emissions continue to be high level.
The volcanic plume reached 3,930 ft (1,200 m) altitude.
