Kusatsu-Shirane volcano (Honshu, Japan): increasing activity

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that the activity at the volcano has been increasing during the past few weeks. Possible eruption could affect an area of about 1 km distance from the Yugama crater.
