The explosive activity of the volcano continues at moderate levels characterized by occasional strombolian-to-vulcanian type eruptions.

According to PVMBG a two moderate explosions occurred at around 12:33 local time yesterday and at 07:35 local time today that generated 2,296 ft (700 m) high grey ash plumes. Volcanic ash is dispersed towards the E-SE.
The seismic station recorded about 20 volcano-tectonic earthquakes accompanied by the eruptions.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows and lahars could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater.
