The explosive activity of the volcano continues from the active crater with near-constant ash eruptions that reached 7,900 ft (2,400 m) altitude at 09:26 local time today and drifted NW.
Strombolian activity is well visible at night as glowing scoria is ejected several hundred meters above the crater.
Seismic instruments detected about 107 volcano-tectonic earthquakes today.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows and lahars could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater.
