Lewotolok volcano (Lembata Island, Indonesia) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 17 November-23 November 2021 (Continuing Activity)

PVMBG reported that the eruption at Lewotolok continued during 17-23 November. White-and-gray plumes that were sometimes dense rose as high as 2 km above the summit. Incandescent material was ejected 200 m E from the vent during 19-20 November.
Crater incandescence was visible during 22-23 November. The Alert Level remained at 3 (on a scale of 1-4) and the public was warned to stay 3 km away from the summit crater.
