No significant changes have occurred at the volcano recently. The Colombian Geological Service maintains yellow alert level as seismic activity under the volcano continues to be elevated.
Most seismic activity has been associated with rock fracturing. In the past week, a slight increase in both the number of earthquakes and the seismic energy released was reported. Earthquakes were located mainly west of the dome at depths between 2.4 and 4.4 km.
