Time and depth of recent earthquakes under Mammoth Mountain
A small earthquake swarm occurred at Mammoth Mountain during 14-20 Jan and seems to have ended.

Another (weak) earthquake swarm has started yesterday evening at Mammoth Mountain. Most quakes are at about 20 km depth in an area 5 km SW of the mountain. [more]

Another small earthquake swarm has occurred between 14-16 Nov. Such seismic activity falls into the normal behaviour of an active caldera system, and should not be seen as indicator of new eruptions to be expected in the near future. USGS who monitor their volcanoes very carefully maintain alert level green (normal) for Long Valley and Mammoth Mountain.

Another small seismic swarm has occurred (or started) yesterday near Mammoth Mountain, with about 20 very small quakes located at about 6 km east of the volcano at depths mostly between 10 and 5 km. A larger magnitude 2.9 event at 13.5 km followed this morning (GMT time). ... [more]
