Manam volcano (Papua New Guinea) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 2 October-8 October 2019 (Continuing Activity)
RVO reported that white emissions rose from Manam during 1-7 October and variable crater incandescence from Main Crater was visible at night. Seismicity was at low to moderate levels with RSAM values fluctuating around 300 units. The Darwin VAAC reported that during 3-4 October diffuse ash plumes rose to an altitude of 3 km (10,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted N and NW, based on satellite data and weather models.
