A volcanic ash plume at estimated 7,000 ft (2.1 km) altitude extending 70 km north from the volcano was reported this morning (VAAC Darwin).

Ash emissions occurred Tuesday (25th), producing a plume at 8,000 ft (2.4 km) altitude that extended 100 km to the west. (Darwin VAAC)

A small explosion occurred this morning. Darwin VAAC reported an ash plume to 7,000 ft (2.1 km) altitude extending 8 km ESE from the volcano.

Ash emissions continue. VAAC Darwin reported a volcanic ash plume extending 140 km SE of the volcano at 20,000 ft (6 km) altitude this morning.

Ash emissions yesterday and today produced a plume that rose to estimated 21,000 t (6.5 km) and drifted SSW. (VAAC Darwin)

Smaller ash emissions from the volcano have been observed during the past days. Yesterday, an ash plume at estimated 9,000 ft (2.7 km) altitude drifted 40 km NW (VAAC Darwin).
