The Institute of Volcanology and Geodynamics (Russian Academy of Natural Science) reported that during the morning of 31 July volcanologists working on Kudryavy, a stratovolcano of the Medvezhia volcanic complex, noted a sharp increase in the volume of vapor-and-gas emissions, with a plume rising more than 1 km. ...more

Satellite images showed a weak thermal anomaly over Kudryavy, a stratovolcano of the Medvezhia volcanic complex, on 18 March.

The alert level (Aviation Color Code) was again lowered to green, because activity at Kudriavy, a stratovolcano of the Medvezhia volcanic complex, had not increased since 1 December.

The Moyorodake-Kudryavy and Chirinkotan volcanoes were placed on yellow alert by SVERT on 27 Nov, as an increase in degassing was observed at both. Recent satellite image shows steam plumes drifting from the volcanoes. ...more

A thermal anomaly was detected over Kudriavy, a stratovolcano of the Medvezhia volcanic complex, on 11 January. Strong steam-and-gas plumes were also observed.
