Momotombo volcano (Nicaragua): weekly volcanic activity report 8-14 Jul 2020

Momotombo volcano from satellite on 7 July (image: Sentinel 2)On 6 July at 06:57 local time seismic station of SINAPRED recorded a seismic swarm and 51 earthquakes on 7 July.
The largest earthquake were measured with magnitude M 2.6 at 3 km depth and located SE of the volcano beneath lake Managua.
INETER noted that the earthquakes were located along a fault and not directly related to the volcano.
